Alan Rogers Review

This is a good site either for a night stop or for a stay of a few days while visiting Granada, especially the Alhambra, and for a city site it is surprisingly pleasant. Quite large, it has an open feel and, to encourage you to stay a little longer, a smart, irregular shape pool with a smaller children’s pool open in high season. There is some traffic noise around the pool as it is on the road boundary. With 148 pitches for touring units (10/20A electricity), the site is in two connected parts with more mature trees and facilities to the northern end. Artificial shade is available throughout the site if required (but may be quite low).

Granada has much to offer for sightseeing, including the amazing Alhambra. We recommend that you allow a minimum of a full day to explore the palaces, but longer is needed to cover everything. Granada also has some interesting shops and there are usually one or two excellent shows. There is a small tour operator presence but it is not intrusive. English is spoken by the friendly staff.
