Alan Rogers Review

This attractive and well maintained site borders Lake Annecy with its own small private beach and mooring for small boats. The lake water is very clean and there are opportunities nearby for a wide range of activities both on and off the water. The site has 100 average sized, level grass pitches for touring units with 10A electricity. Trees give some pitches good shade. Occasional activities are organised, but this a good base for those who are seeking a more relaxed site and are happy to organise their own programme. A water taxi direct from the site makes twice weekly trips for Annecy market.

Ideally located between the lake and the mountains, this area offers water, nature, culture, good food and relaxation. Annecy, known as the ‘town of art’, has a castle museum, cathedral, ancient prisons, markets, fairs and a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants, etc, is only 7 km. to the north. There are many other interesting old towns and villages in the area.

A new, modern toilet block provides excellent facilities for all, including for campers with disabilities. Laundry facilities. Lake fishing, bathing and boating. Bicycle hire. Boules. Communal barbecue. Charcoal barbecues are not permitted. WiFi throughout (free).
