Alan Rogers Review
Camping Ribamar is tucked away within the National Park of the Sierra de Irta, to the north of Alcossebre, and with direct access to a rugged beach. All the pitches are classified as Premium (90-100sqm) with electricity (6A/10A) and a water supply. A number of bungalows with air conditioning are available for rent.
Leisure facilities here include a large swimming pool plus delightful children’s pool and a paddling pool. The main amenities building is adjacent and houses the site’s basic bar/restaurant and shop. Twice per week a free shuttle service to the town, available during the winter.
The Sierra de Irta is a magnificent landscape of intense colours. Although little over two hours’ drive south of Barcelona, this is a very under populated region with some excellent long distance footpaths and cycle paths. Alcossebre is a delightful resort town which has retained its Spanish identity, unlike some of the larger resorts to the north. The town has three Blue Flag beaches and a wealth of cafés and restaurants.
One spotlessly clean toilet block with facilities for babies and campers with disabilities. Laundry facilities. Bar. Restaurant. Shop. Swimming pool. Paddling pool. Multisports terrain. Tennis. Five-a-side football. Basketball. Boules. Paddle court. Bicycle hire. Play area. Library/social room. Chalets to rent. Direct access to rocky beach. Fishing. WiFi (charged). Charcoal barbecues are not allowed.
Leave the AP7 motorway at exit 44 and follow signs to Alcossebre using N340 and CV142. The site can be found to the north of the town. Follow signs to Sierra de Irta and then the site, which is 2.5 km. along a dusty, gravel track.Link to campsite location map on google
