Alan Rogers Review
Camping Rialto is a family run site with a pleasant atmosphere. Its main attraction is its close proximity to Venice, which can be reached by bus from the gate (€ 2.60 return). There are 89 pitches (6A Europlug) for tourers, under mature trees and in rows between hard roads allowing easy access. They are situated further into the site past the rental accommodation and tents. A pizza restaurant/takeaway with a bar is close to the entrance, along with all other administrative buildings.
An uncomplicated site where English is spoken alongside other European languages, Rialto is a great base for visiting Venice. The owners are keen to please and we were impressed with the happy service given on the restaurant patio when the tired tourists returned. It is mostly used for short stays, so there is a rapid turnover of tourers here.
One sanitary block is offset nearer the entrance. It is of traditional design but has modern equipment and facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machines and dryer. Motorcaravan services. Freezer for gel packs. Shop. Bar with TV. Pizzeria and takeaway. Communal barbecue area. WiFi (charged).
