Camping Rendez-vous is an all-year site located at an altitude of 1,200 m, just outside the delightful mountain village of Kandersteg. There are 60 terraced touring pitches here and a further 20 pitches are occupied by residential caravans. Additional dormitory accommodation is available. The pitches are grassy and many have fine views over the surrounding mountain scenery. Although there are few amenities on-site, Kandersteg is nearby and is an important mountain resort with a good selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a railway station and cable car service.
Camping Rendez-vous is an excellent starting point for many of the area’s superb walking and mountain biking opportunities, with over 500 km. of marked trails available. The site owners will be pleased to recommend routes.
Adjacent to the site is the new Oeschinensee cable car which gives access to a summer toboggan run. During the winter, skiing and other winter sports are possible, with a ski school located nearby. The adjoining restaurant offers an attractive menu and terrace seating.

Location
From the north, take the N6 Bern-Spiez motorway and take the Kandersteg exit. Pass Frutigen and follow signs to Kandersteg Zentrum, then brown campsite signs to the left.
