Alan Rogers Review
Camping Rapoca is located beside the historic town of Nerezine, an ancient seafaring and shipbuilding settlement, close to Mount Osorscica on the east coast of the Losinj island. This private site offers an oasis of tranquillity when compared to its bigger, commercial brothers. It has 250 touring pitches, including 100 with 10A electricity. The touring pitches are in a separate area from the seasonal units, on one large, open field with little shade. Pitches are marked, level and vary in size, but are not separated. The site has its own restaurant with good value meals and a small bar.
It is an easy ten minute walk alongside the Adriatic to Nerezine and here one can enjoy ancient Dalmatian style houses and several bars, restaurants and shops or climb the Osorscica, reputedly the most beautiful island mountain in the Adriatic region, in the footsteps of Rudolph of Habsburg who climbed it in 1887. At the top is a church and from the highest point, Televrin at 589 m, there are beautiful views of the Adriatic and Nerezine.
