This site lies just 300 metres from, and overlooks, the Weissen See which is open to the public and used for swimming and boating. Of the 150 pitches, 100 are for touring units, all with 16A electricity and in an open-plan arrangement. Although the site is somewhat undulating in places, the pitches are reasonably level with a grass/sand base and shaded by mature, tall pine trees. There are also overnight parking places outside of the barrier. A local train service (more a bus on rails) passes the site, allowing easy access to the towns of Mirow and Neustrelitz.

Am Weissen See is well suited to visitors who like a quiet site set in a natural forested location, where the swimming facilities are within easy reach but far enough away from the campsite to enable a peaceful atmosphere to be maintained. In the restaurant that adjoins the site, local food and beers can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the lake without disturbing the tranquillity of the campsite.

Directions to Camping Park Am Weissen See

Site is 1 km. west of Wesenberg. Leave autobahn 19 at exit 18 Röbel/Müritz and travel westwards on 198 (Neustrelitz/Plau Am See). After 38 km, just before Wesenberg turn left (north) towards Kleiner Weiser See and follow signs to site (400 m).
