Alan Rogers Review
This site is on flat land beside the River Marne with 450 pitches, 76 of which are occupied by mobile homes and chalets to rent. The 220 touring pitches are on gravel and are separated by hedges. All have electricity (10A) but water has to be fetched from the toilet blocks except for the 32 serviced pitches which have taps and waste water points. There is also a large area of grass pitches for camping where there are water points but no electricity. It is very much a short-stay site and it can be noisy late at night with groups staying here, although it appears to be well run.
This is a very useful site for those wishing to visit Paris and is also convenient for Disneyland Paris as there is a bus service from the campsite gates to the Metro RER station serving both destinations. It is also close to the A4 motorway which is free as far as Disneyland.
Three toilet blocks are old-fashioned but apparently cleaned three times a day. Toilets are mainly segregated with many Turkish style but some British (with occasional seat). One block has unisex toilets (seatless British style). Showers are preset and washbasins in cubicles with warm and cold water. Facilities for disabled visitors (some en-suite) are basic and there are no grab rails. Laundry facilities. Small shop, bar and snack bar (15/3-15/10). Fishing.

From A4 take exit 5 on D45 south (towards Champigny). At lights, turn right on N303 (St Maur). At next lights continue on (now N4 to Vincennes) and immediately turn right at next lights (Boulevard de Polangis). Approaching (but before) motorway flyover, turn right along Boulevard des Alliés. Site is on left (passing under motorway).
