Alan Rogers Review
This site is close enough to Paris to enable you to go there for day trips but, on the other hand, it is sufficiently secluded to allow visitors a peaceful, quiet stay away from the bustle which is Paris. The site has 500 pitches stretching over 12 hectares and is located next to a leisure park – ideal for cyclists and joggers. Numerous trees provide shade whilst sun worshippers can also find pitches to suit their needs. Most of the 100 touring pitches are divided by hedges and have electricity hook-ups (French style plug 6/10A).
The palace of Versailles is very close by (7 km) and its gardens are a must to visit. The station at Saint Quentin en Yvelines provides easy access to Paris.
Five toilet blocks include facilities for disabled visitors but none for children/families. They are rather dilapidated with showers, washbasins in cabins, British and Turkish style toilets, no facilities for babies and children and no laundry. Motorcaravan services. Bar serving basic snacks. Bread to order from reception (no shop). Play area with bouncy castle.
