Alan Rogers Review of Camping Paradiso Lago
Paradiso Lago sits against a backdrop of beautiful wooded mountains and is an ideal site if you are stopping to explore the towns around Lake Lugano. Its 200 grassy pitches, some open some with shade, have 6A electricity hook-ups and slope gently down to the water’s edge where there is a small pebble beach. The lake provides plenty of opportunities for recreation, with swimming, fishing, diving, windsurfing and water-skiing. A motorway and a railway line run close to the site, so some noise is inevitable.
Facilities at Camping Paradiso Lago
Two heated sanitary blocks with free hot showers. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Shop for essentials. Restaurant, snack bar and takeaway. Lake swimming. TV/games room. Fishing. Sailing. Water-skiing. No electric barbecues. WiFi (€ 5/24 hrs). Dogs are not accepted.
Directions to Camping Paradiso Lago
From E35 motorway take exit 51 for Melida onto Road 2, over lake to Bissone, Maroggia and finally Melano. As you approach town, just after 50 km. sign turn right onto Via Pedreta, pass under bridge (max. height 3.4 m) and continue to site on right.
