Alan Rogers Review
Close to the River Garonne, this small site has a rather formal charm with neat flower beds, well mown lawns and an extremely well cared for appearance. With a small reception, the gardien based on site and a security barrier, it only has 32 pitches plus a meadow for additional camping. All with electricity (15A), the pitches are of a reasonable size, separated by small trees which provide a little shade. There is some road and rail noise at times. This is a good stopping off point or base from which to explore the local area.
The site is on the southern outskirts of the town with a fair choice of shops, restaurants, etc. and only a 15 minute drive from the charming old riverside town of Port Ste Marie.
Sanitary facilities are roomy but of fairly old design, they are adequate rather than luxurious. Washing machine. No proper chemical disposal point. Ice and cold drinks available. Under cover area with fridge, freezer, tables and chairs. Small play area, sandpit. Torch useful.

Take either exit 5 from autoroute to Marmande then the N113 south or exit 6 to Aiguillon (avoid town) and follow N113 north. Site on west side of N113 just south of Tonneins.
