Camping Municipal du Sans Souci is located in Fresnay sur Sarthe on the banks of the Sarthe River in the Alpes Mancelles. Fresnay sur Sarthe is a small town of character where you can stroll through the narrow streets of the medieval centre or along the banks of Sarthe. Discover the Coteau des Vignes, it will invite you to a walk overlooking the Bourgneuf district with many panoramic views. The Alpes Mancelles are ideal places for outdoor activities, you can practice hiking or mountain biking in the many trails, you will also have the opportunity to try climbing, canoeing, electric boat, tree climbing, hot air ballooning or bungee jumping.

The site is just 5 minutes from the city centre with shops, bars and restaurants. The site has 73 spacious, flat, and grassy touring pitches with electric hook-up point 10amp and 8 chalets/lodges available to hire. Wi-fi accessible throughout the site. It is hard to believe it is a municipal site. All facilities spotless and lovely pitches next to the pretty river. Helpful patron whose English is perfect. Short walk to quiet mediaeval town. No extras but the town was only a short walk away.

Location

From the north via D338 to La Hutte, then turn right via D310 to Fresnay-sur-Sarthe. From the south via D338 and D39 to Fresnay-sur-Sarthe. In the village take the D310 direction Sillé-la-Guillaume. Then follow the site signs.
