Alan Rogers Review
The pretty village of Saint Nazaire-en-Royans is to be found on the western perimeter of the Parc Régional du Vercors and is distinguished by its impressive bridge, which straddles the Isère river. The municipal site is only 500 m. from the village and is fronted by the municipal tennis courts and boules area. With a well laid out, tidy and organised appearance, the 75 grass pitches are of a good size, all with electricity (3/6A) and separated by hedges. A few overlook the river with trees giving some shade. A convenient base for exploring this scenic area.
The basic sanitary block is in good condition and clean. It provides British and Turkish style WCs, some curtained washbasin cabins and facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine. Very small play area with grass base. Fishing. Security gate (locked 22.00-07.00). Gas and electric barbecues only.

Exit A49 (Valence-Grenoble) at exit 8. Take N532 east for 3 km. to St Nazaire-en-Royans. Site is clearly signed 500 m. east of village just off D76 (St Jean-en-Royans). The site is a left turn on the brow of a hill on a corner – take care.
