Alan Rogers Review
Within walking distance of the pleasant little town of Scaër, Kerisole is an attractive and well kept site, ideal for exploring inland Brittany and yet only 32 km. from the coast. There are 75 mostly level, grass pitches, not hedged, but individually numbered (28 have electricity). Throughout the season the managers, in conjunction with the local council, organise walks, local visits and various activities (even how to make genuine Breton crêpes!), many of which are free of charge. With its delightful park-like setting, reasonable charges, and proximity to both town facilities and countryside walks, this site makes an ideal base.
Central, clean and tidy sanitary blocks include washbasins in cubicles and separate facilities for men and ladies. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry with free use of washing machine and dryer. Library. Barbecue to loan. Bread to order and delivered to your pitch. Adjacent play area in large grassy field. Marked woodland footpath, which also has a range of ‘assault course’ obstacles along the way. Access to the local swimming pool is no longer free of charge.

From N165 take D70 to Rosporden, then D782 to Scaër. Drive through town centre, following signs for Faouet, and site is on left at traffic lights on leaving town centre.
