Opportunities for campers who enjoy a naturist lifestyle are extremely limited within the Czech Republic. We have explored all the possibilities and feel that this 12-hectare, Dutch-owned site with 80 pitches in southern Bohemia provides acceptable facilities near interesting attractions and pleasant scenery. It is very popular with families. Previously a farm, this spacious, open and sloping site has a number of well spaced mini-terraces creating both views and distance between you and your neighbours. The gradual descent through the site is via a track, but the owners will help with a tractor should there be problems in siting a caravan. Electricity hook-ups (16A) may need a long lead.
The focal point of the site is the main building and adjacent small river-fed lake. The latter is extremely popular with parents and children alike but used entirely at your own risk. The main building, some distance from most pitches, houses all the facilities and accommodation. Owners, Wils and Bert, have integrated well with the local people and this is reflected both in the quality of food at the restaurant and the prices of such services as a massage or a haircut. Within a reasonable distance are many places of interest including the UNESCO World Monument town of Cesky Krumlov, Ceske Budejovice and the powerful impressive castle at Hluboka.
