Alan Rogers Review
The island of Evia could easily be mistaken for part of the mainland now that it is connected to Attica by two bridges and several ferries. It is, however, the second largest Greek Island, Crete being that much bigger. Camping Milos is on the coast just over 1.5 km. north of Eretria and provides 64 pitches. Forty pitches provide space for tents, caravans and motorcaravans, all under screens of varying heights. Inevitably there is limited space for each group, although there should be no problem in low season. The area around Chalkida is very busy and is clearly a popular seaside resort for the Greeks from Athens and its suburbs.
However, it changes quickly to the north and south and is worth a visit for the outstanding scenery alone.
Separate sanitary facilities for men and ladies include hot showers. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry with washing machines. Two kitchens with sinks, gas hobs and fridges. Small shop. Outdoor pool with bar for drinks and snacks. Play area. Boat ramp. Free WiFi.

From Chalkida follow signs for Eretria or South Evia down the coastal road. Site is on the right before Eretria, 20 km. south of Chalkida. From the ferry (Oropos-Eretria) leave the dock, go through the town and join the main road north to site on the left after 2 km.
