Campsite Melissa is located on the beach in Kástro, West-Greece, situated by the sea. The campsite pitches are marked out and are on sloping ground and have a mixture of full, partial or no shade. The beachside location makes this an ideal site for watersports enthusiasts, with a shallow family-friendly beach. Onsite facilities include a restaurant, which is self-service and a beach bar which offers a selection of snacks. The sanitary facilities are reasonably modern and clean.
Nearby attractions include the castle at Chlemoutsi, with the ancient city of Olympia is around two hours. Ferries to the island of Zákynthos depart from the small port of Kyllini about 15 minutes North of the campsite.
