KronoCamping Lidköping is located on the shores of Lake Vänern, just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Lidköping. This high-quality, attractive site provides 410 touring pitches on flat, well-kept grass plus 53 excellent hardstanding pitches for motorhomes. All the pitches have electricity (10A/16A) and TV connections, and many are fully serviced. There are 30 cabins to rent and 125 seasonal units. It is surrounded by some mature trees, with the lake shore as one boundary and some tall pines providing shade and shelter.

A small shop (a shopping centre is very close) and a pleasant, fully licensed restaurant with a conservatory seating area in the reception complex. Very good playgrounds are provided for children, together with a football field, TV room and an amusement and games room. The lake is available for watersports, kayaking and fishing, with swimming opportunities from the sandy beach, and there is a swimming pool complex (free for campers) adjacent to the campsite.

The site operates a very good summer entertainment programme, including a children's club with creative crafts, treasure hunts and sports tournaments. For adults, there are activities including yoga classes, running groups, paddle tennis and live music in the evenings.

Lidköping is a charming town with various shops, restaurants, and attractions. Some of the most popular attractions in Lidköping include Läckö Castle, Karlsbergs Kanal, and Rådhuset, The town hall, which is a beautiful example of Swedish Baroque architecture. Lidköpings Konstmuseum, which houses a collection of Swedish art from the 18th to the 21st centuries, is worth a visit, too.
