Alan Rogers Review

This site may be convenient for some as it stays open all year. However, other than an excellent pool complex, most of the entertainment and the sanitary facilities are only open in July and August. It would be fair to say that Les Rochelets is aiming at campers that are looking for static holiday accommodation as many new mobile homes have been installed. Touring pitches are extremely poor the ground being mostly soil and stone, with bare tree roots from the many large conifers. Electricity (6-10A) is supplied, although long leads are required. This is possibly a suitable site for a winter stopover. The location is convenient for many tourist venues: Brevin-Les-Pins, Pornic or over the St Nazaire bridge to La Baule.

Facilities

Two sanitary blocks (only open in July/Aug). One toilet and one shower in the pool complex for disabled visitors and for all other campers for the rest of the year. Washing machine and dryer. Bar, restaurant and takeaway (all July/Aug). Pool complex with flumes (May-Sept). Bicycle hire. Pony rides (July/Aug). WiFi throughout (charged). Mobile homes to rent.
