Les Pialades is small and family run with new owners for 2012, they have many plans to develop this peaceful, rural site. The focal point is the attractive swimming pool and paddling pool overlooked by the restaurant and well stocked shop, and everything is open all season. There are 81 slightly sloping, grassy pitches separated by hedges, while mature trees give good shade. The 53 touring pitches, the majority have electricity (8/10A), but twin-axle caravans and large outfits are not accepted. In July and August there are a few family activities but this will be a quieter site than many in the region.
Fishermen will enjoy the small lake next to the site, but there are plenty of marked walks and cycle tracks in the area for the more active. There is much to do in the Dordogne region including visiting the many famous hilltop villages with their local markets and museums. The area is also famous for its gastronomy, which can be experienced in the many local restaurants, and for its river sports, particularly canoeing.
