This very friendly, family run site is situated on the edge of an extensive pine forest and is just over a kilometre from the attractive beaches south of Saint Jean-de-Monts. The main area of the site is shaded by pine trees, whilst across the (fairly minor) road are the main amenities and access to a smaller camping and mobile home area that is given plenty of shade by deciduous trees. Access to most pitches might be tricky for really large units, as the tracks wind through the trees. In total there are 90 touring pitches, all with electricity (6A), and a further 213 occupied by mobile homes. Of these, 60 are available to rent.

The amenities include a well stocked shop, a bar with a small, good value restaurant and takeaway, and a games room. A heated outdoor pool also has a jacuzzi, a paddling pool and a flume. Owners of large units are advised to contact the site to check availability of a suitable pitch.

Three main sanitary blocks are bright and cheerful and kept very clean. Preset showers and washbasins in cubicles. En-suite accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Shop (30/6-2/9). Bar (9/6-9/9). Location

Site is south of St Jean-de-Monts. From D38 (Noirmoutier-Sables d’Olonne) road at southern end of St Jean-de-Monts bypass (D38bis), turn west towards town and follow signs to site, turning left at first roundabout, crossing next one and bearing left again at roundabout onto rue de la Chauderie. Site is on left.
