Les Ecureuils is a pretty site within 200 metres of Lake Sanguinet. A pleasant entrance, reception area and well tended flower beds at the very attractive restaurant lead into this neat, well cared for site with its buildings in the style of Alpine chalets. With only 130 touring pitches it is quite small in comparison with many sites in the area. The level pitches are mostly shaded on sand or gravel ground. All are at least 100 sq.m. and have 10A electricity connections (long leads may be required). There are 40 mobile homes, 30 privately owned, and a number of new ecolodges.

These made very attractive with masses of flowers around them. This is a quiet, family oriented site, well maintained and reasonably priced, with night security.

Facilities

High quality toilet blocks have washbasins in cabins, and apart from one squat style toilet in each block, British type WCs. Shop, restaurant and takeaway. Large swimming pool complex. Games room. Play area. Minigolf. Boules. Tennis (charged). Bicycle hire (the area is a maze of cycle tracks). Only gas barbecues are permitted. WiFi (free).

Heading south on D652 Bordeaux-Biscarrosse road, bear right on D305 signed Navarrosse Port-Plage. Take second right signed Port and site is on right.
