Alan Rogers Review
Situated in the Périgord Noir, 12 km. southwest of Sarlat, this is a well presented small campsite where the owners have worked hard to make sure that the site is maintained to the highest standards possible. Martine and Laurent are friendly and helpful and are keen to ensure that you enjoy your holiday. There are 60 level, grass pitches of which 40 are for touring units. One of these is fully serviced and 36 have 6A electricity. A variety of trees provide some shade. There is a good swimming pool, small paddling pool and a jacuzzi.
The terrace offers a nice space to enjoy drinks from the bar and to eat from the snack bar which is open all day. The playground, with adventure type equipment, offers a safe place for children to play. Activities and entertainment are organised in July and August. Trips for canoeing and walking are also arranged and are well received. Being in the heart of the Périgord, it serves as an excellent and convenient base to explore all that is on offer in the area as well as to enjoy what is offered on site.
Two modern sanitary blocks include facilities for babies and disabled visitors. Washing machine. Small shop, bar, restaurant, takeaway (June-Sept). Outdoor swimming and paddling pools (heated June-Sept). Jacuzzi. Playground. Library. Trampoline. Pétanque. Family games. Organised activities (July/Aug). Internet access. WiFi over site (charged).
LocationFrom Sarlat take the D57, then the D703 towards St Cyprien. Site on right 1 km. after Beynac, well signed. Link to campsite location map on google
