Le Texas is situated on the outskirts of Argelès and has been in the hands of the same family for over 35 years. With only 144 level, sandy pitches, 50 of are occupied by mobile homes to rent, another 50 being privately owned, it has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with shade from tall trees. In high season the ‘Little Train’ will take you to the beach, although there is a pleasant pool on the site. A popular little bar/shop selling local wines and traditional gifts is only 50 m. down the road.
Facilities
Two fully equipped sanitary blocks. Accessible Facilities. Bread and essentials available high season along with simple takeaway. Outdoor heated pool (30/5-19/9). Multisports court. Play area. TV room. Family entertainment and miniclub (July/Aug). Communal barbecue area. Free WiFi in reception area.
Location
From the N114 which runs around the back of Argelès take exit 10. Follow signs for Taxo d’Avall and Plages Nord. Almost immediately turn left then right by wine cave and site is ahead. Watch out for small road running across the entrance.
