Le Rouquié, a family run campsite, is on the edge of Le Lac de Raviège, deep in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional Haut-Languedoc. The 97 level pitches (60 for tourers) are of varying sizes between 80 and 130 sq.m. They are grassed and arranged on terraces which slope quite steeply to the edge of the lake. All pitches, with superb views over the lake, are separated by small trees and are partially shaded, with electricity (6A; Europlug) available near each one. Mobile homes and chalets (26) are also available to rent.
There is a small but well stocked bar, a small snack bar with takeaway service and a small shop in high season. Children’s entertainment is provided from May to August and live musical entertainment is provided every Saturday night in high season. The lake is used for a variety of watersports. For those who enjoy walking or mountain biking, there are several Nordic ski tracks in the surrounding area.
