Alan Rogers Review
Taking its name from the nearby Roman ruins, Camping le César is a small site located between a busy road and a vineyard. Of its 77 pitches, 30 are available for tourers and these are located amongst mobile homes and permanent tents of varying ages. Pitches are of mixed size and access to some is quite difficult. There is little shade on this site as most of the planting is fairly new. There is an attractive outdoor pool with a decked sunbathing area, an on-site bakery and a limited restaurant and bar. Whilst the owners were friendly and welcoming, the site is lacking in warm ambience, possibly due to the high ratio of mobile homes to touring pitches.
The single toilet block is unisex and requires maintenance. Laundry facilities. Restaurant, bar, and snack service. On-site bakery. Gas. Outdoor swimming pool (from 10/6). Play area. Bouncy castle. Cycle routes starting from the site. Natural climbing wall.
