Alan Rogers Review
A spacious, quiet, family run site with a very short season, high on the Sauvetere Causse. Close by are dramatic views over the Gorges du Tarn hundreds of metres below. Here you will find peace and tranquillity as the site lies far from the bustle of modern life and there are no organised activities to spoil your holiday. There are 25 very large, sloping, uneven, grassy pitches most with electricity and many with water and a drain. A new (2015) spa with Jacuzzi and infra-red cabin has views over the Causse.
This is dramatic country – a land of limestone, sheep, Roquefort and orchids. The Tarn gorges are close at hand and the site is close to the magnificent sites of Montpellier-le-Vieux and Le Chaos-de-Nîmes. Many adventure sports are possible here including mountain biking, canoeing (the Tarn is 12 km. away), canyoning and potholing. More sedate activities could include visits to the medieval town of Séverac-le-Château with its fine ‘son et lumière’ show (August only).
Modern toilet block adjacent to reception. Bread delivered. Play area. Barbecue area. Games room. Mobile homes to rent.
