Alan Rogers Review
This friendly family run campsite is situated on the outskirts of Laspaúles, within walking distance of all amenities. The 85 level grass pitches (70 sq.m) have electricity (6/10A) and access to water points. Some 15 season pitches are mainly confined to the first two rows. At the rear of the site, a small track leads to the Rio Isabena, a small shallow river (ideal for a paddle on a hot day - children will need supervising). It flows past the site beneath a picturesque 16th-century stone bridge which leads to a rather run down municipal picnic area. The nearby N260 is very popular with motorcyclists so be careful around blind bends.
One newly renovated toilet block has hot showers. Baby changing in the ladies. Facilities for disabled visitors and laundry equipment are in main building adjacent to shop. Bar, restaurant and takeaway. Swimming pool and children’s pool. Play area. Games room (above reception). WiFi area and library. Communal barbecue - no charcoal on pitches.
