Alan Rogers Review
Camping l’Anjou is a very small, quiet, rural, family run site set in a lesser known area of the Midi Pyrénées to the west of Auch, halfway between the small villages of Montesquiou and Bassoues. You will receive a warm welcome from the friendly Dutch owners. The site has rural views over the surrounding countryside and is open from May to September. There are 38 small to medium size, level grass pitches with 32 for touring and electricity (6A) is available. The shrubs and trees around the pitches offer some privacy and varying amounts of shade. In July and August there is a small bar with shaded terrace, a snack bar and fresh bread is available to order.
This site has little in the way of organised entertainment and is ideal for those seeking a relaxing and stress free holiday. There is a small garden with a play area and a mini farm has some animals for children to enjoy. Access on site may be difficult for large outfits. Gas and charcoal barbecues are permitted.
Excellent toilet blocks with all necessary facilities including room for babies and campers with disabilities. Washing machine/dryer. Bar with terrace, snack bar and bread to order (1/7-31/8). Small outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing terrace (July/Aug). Shaded garden with play area. Communal barbecue. Small farm. Boules. WiFi in one area (free).

From Auch take N21 southwest for about 18 km. Just after Miramont d’Astarac take D2 northwest to l’Isle de Noé, then D943 west to Montesquiou for 9 km. Continue on D943 and site is signed on the left after 3 km.
