L’Albizia can be found close to the little resort of Notre-Dame-de-Monts, 900 m. from an excellent sandy beach. This modern, 2.5-hectare site has a total of 151 pitches and an impressive range of services including outdoor and covered swimming pools, a paddling pool, a friendly bar/snack bar and a shop. The 15 touring pitches are of average size and are equipped with 16A electricity. There are some smaller pitches (without electricity) for tent campers. A good selection of mobile homes are available to rent. Various activities are organised in peak season, including themed evenings, sports competitions and a children’s club.

The island of Noirmoutier is within easy reach and makes an excellent day trip. It can be accessed either by the modern bridge, or by the famous causeway (Le Gois) at low tide. Notre Dame itself is a pleasant holiday centre with a number of excellent seafood restaurants. To the north, the Marais Breton is an immense area of mysterious marshland, which can be explored by canoe excursions.

Two modern toilet blocks were clean and had British style WCs, controllable hot showers and washbasins in cubicles. Accessible Facilities. Laundry. Shop sells basics (bread to order). Bar. Snack bar. Location

The site is north of Notre-Dame-de-Monts. From there take the northbound D38 towards La Barre-de-Monts. Turn left towards Le Fief and follow signs to site (on route de la Rive).
