Alan Rogers Review
At an altitude of some 370 metres (over 1,200 feet) and set in a village of great charm, this site is ideal for campers who enjoy outdoor activities. These include hill walking, climbing, mountain biking and canoe trekking amongst others. The views from parts of the site are superb. With some terracing, a total of 60 pitches (40 with 5A electricity) are on grass with small acacia and cherry trees to mark them and give some shade. Some lively entertainment should be expected in the evening, even in the pool area, and the site is part of the Ardèche Cycle Race in June.
The bar, restaurant and takeaway are open all season. The site has a swimming pool which is fenced and gated. As it is over 2 m. deep it is not suitable for the very young, but they are catered for with simple play areas on grass.
The toilet block is adequate. Laundry room. Motorcaravan services. Bar, restaurant and takeaway. Unheated, deep swimming pool. Play area. Evening entertainment. Bicycle hire. Torches useful. Only gas and electric barbecues are permitted.
