La Pergola is an attractive, tranquil campsite with 183 pitches which include 56 for tourers, all with 10A electricity. It is located in a mainly residential area of this up-and-coming and, at times, quite lively, seaside resort. Orientated towards family holidays, it offers a choice of mainly large pitches, some with lots of shade and some with less. It has a very pleasant ambience, a nice quiet pool area and it will undoubtedly appeal to families with younger children in particular. It is about five minutes walk from the beach.
Many improvements have been made to the campsite during the last few years and the management team recognise that there is still some work to be done. There are plans to include special pitches for larger units and for the construction of a multisports complex.
Facilities
Three modern toilet blocks include facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Bar, restaurant and takeaway (all season). Heated outdoor swimming and paddling pools (all season). TV. Play area. Bicycle hire. Some evening entertainment. Max. one dog. No charcoal barbecues allowed. WiFi throughout (charged).
Location
From A9 take exit 41 and follow signs towards Canet via the D83 and D81 until a roundabout signed Ste Marie-la-Mer Plage. Turn left into Ste Marie-Plage and follow campsite signs.
