La Palmeraie, now owned by Homair, is a family campsite situated some 900 metres from the beach at Torreilles-Plage. There is an abundance of foliage, including a variety of trees and flowering shrubs which provide ample shade – unusual in a situation on the littoral and so close to the sea. There are some 300 pitches in total, most of which are occupied by mobile homes or Bengali tents. Some are privately owned and 180 are available to rent, leaving just 40 pitches for touring units. A new aquatic centre with heated pools, slides, fun pools and sunbathing area opens in July 2015.

Entertainment in the evening and sports activities during the day are organised in July and August, when there is also a club for children. There are plenty of activities in the local area including a beach club, sailing, karting and micro-flying. Perpignan is 12 km. and the border with Spain only 50 km.

Swimming and paddling pools. Excellent large play area. Games room. Multisports court. Evening entertainment and organised sports activities in July/Aug. Children’s club (6-12 yrs). Bicycle hire. Location

From A9 take exit 41 and follow signs for Canet via D81 and D83. Once on D83 look for signs for Torreilles-Plage. Site is on right hand side as you approach from the roundabout on the D83.
