Alan Rogers Review
This is a small, compact site run by an enthusiastic Dutch family. It has 43 well sized, beautifully maintained grass pitches. The site is gently sloping with many maturing trees which provide a small amount of shade. Many pitches at the higher end of the site have great views of the wooded hillsides in the distance. All pitches have a minimum of 6A electricity and water points are nearby. All pitches are accessed from a gravelled site road. The facilities are all based in one building complex which also houses the site reception, bar and small restaurant. This site is ideal for those wishing to get away from the busy life of towns and cities into the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
It provides a good base for leisurely walks in the immediate surrounding countryside, or just sitting and relaxing for a few days on your pitch. Not far from the Gorges de la Sioule, there are numerous cycling and walking routes, some of which can be accessed directly from the site. Worth visiting in Blot L'Eglise itself (300 m) is the old church and an historic oil mill, which produces vinegar, mustard and nut oil.
Basic, clean and well maintained sanitary facilities (currently no special facilities for disabled visitors but planned for 2016). Laundry facilities. Bar/snack bar/small restaurant. Motorcaravan services. Small, unheated swimming pool (open high season). Two play areas. Climbing wall. Boules. Only gas barbecues permitted. Free WiFi on 80% of site.

Take exit 12.1 from A71. Follow signs to centre of St Pardoux from where the site is very clearly signed (a further 7 km. and a couple of hairpin bends).
