A peaceful, nature-oriented campsite, Kovarna stands in the grounds of a former pioneers’ camp in a beautiful river valley between densely forested hills. With an average size of over 100 sq.m. the 39 pitches are spacious and well laid out over four hectares of land. All have 6A electricity hook-ups. The site is owned by a Dutch couple, Martin and Mascha van der Schuit, who have operated it since 2005. They run their own water purification system (only biologically decomposable agents allowed in chemical toilets).
Facilities
The sanitary block is not new but modestly renovated and acceptable. Washing machine. Small swimming pool (no surveillance). Bread service in the mornings. Ice cream and drinks. WiFi on terrace.
Location
From Prague-Brno motorway exit at km. 90 west towards Pelhrimov and Tábor. After 15 km. at Pelhrimov follow signs for Tábor, then turn north to Vlasim (road no. 112). Arriving in Cervená Recice after 9 km. Site is on left down in valley (follow signs).Campsite Google Map
