Alan Rogers Review
This site is an ideal base for visiting the famous ancient sites of Athens as it lies just 20 minutes away from the Acropolis. It is 100 m. above sea level, but also has access to the beach below. There are 100 pitches of various sizes on partly sloping ground, some of which have views over the Aegean sea and nearby islands. All pitches have 16A electricity. The single sanitary block has unisex showers and may be stretched at busy times. A torch would be useful at night. The site has its own bar and restaurant with sea views from the terrace. There is some aircraft noise as the airport at Spata is 15 km. away.
The site is also well placed for exploring the many islands of the Aegean with the port of Rafina five minutes away, serving the islands of Tinos, Siros Andros Mikonos, Paros, Santorini and Naxos. The port of Piraeus is also within easy reach, from which you can visit just about any Greek island you choose.
Single toilet block with open style washbasins and unisex showers. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine and ironing board. Fridge hire. Bar and restaurant. Takeaway (July/Aug). Direct beach access. WiFi.
