Alan Rogers Review
Located in the foothills of the Pyrénées, Camping International is an attractive, family run site with 180 pitches, most are on the fairly level lower section. There are 146 grassy pitches for touring units, all with electricity (2/6A), many divided by hedges and some with a little shade. Around 40 pitches (more for tents) are on terraces on the mountainside at back of the site, all accessed by tarmac roads and with stunning views. However some fairly steep up and down walking will be necessary. Most of the amenities are grouped around the reception area along the front of the site.
All this should make for a more peaceful camping area, particularly as the buildings help to shield the pitches from any road noise. There are 30 privately owned and four rental mobile homes. There is a well stocked shop, snack bar and takeaway, bar, the heated swimming pool with paddling pool, water toboggan and Jacuzzi, and excellent play areas.
Well equipped toilet blocks (one heated), facilities for babies and disabled campers. Shop. Snack bar, takeaway. Heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, all open (1/6-30/9). Bar (20/6-10/9). Half-court tennis. Boules. Minigolf. Volleyball. Badminton. Playground. Organised activities, main season. WiFi.

From Lourdes take new N21 (Voie rapide) south, pass Argelès-Gazost continuing towards Luz-St Sauveur on D921. Site is on left at Esquièze-Sere (just before Luz), proceed carefully, site entrance is well signed but congested at peak times.
