Alan Rogers Review
Due to a narrow, winding approach, a small motorhome or car and small caravan are required and a sense of adventure to tackle the approach roads to Camping Simondon. This site will appeal to families with young children who are seeking a real hands-on farm experience or couples seeking peace and quiet. The terraced layout of the 25 touring pitches means each has fantastic views across the landscape – you can see the Alps and Mont Blanc miles away. A superb outdoor pool is hidden away at the side of the farm and a large barn is used as a communal eating, games and entertainment area. Tranquillity abounds across this site and is well worth the effort of finding it.
The owners have made this into a small, beautifully landscaped campsite with good facilities (heated pool, spa/sauna and games/library room). Tractor rides and feeding the farm animals are free of charge! The area is ideal for cycling and exploring on foot. Do not approach this site from Beyriuex due to the extremely narrow roads and sharp hairpin bends.
One modern toilet block. Laundry and dishwashing area. Bar stocking essentials. Outdoor heated swimming pool. Spa and sauna (charged). Play area. Games room. Restaurant. Communal eating area. Barbecues forbidden (15/5-30/9). Bicycle hire.
