Alan Rogers Review
Only the access road separates this busy campsite from a sandy beach which stretches west for over five kilometres to the resort of Malgrat de Mar and beyond. Of the 219 pitches, around 50% are devoted to holiday homes with touring pitches occupying two distinct areas. The green zone is in the heart of the resort and pitches have electricity (6A), water, drainage and TV connections and there is some shade. The blue zone has direct access to the beach and is a very quiet area with plenty of sun and little shade; pitches here are smaller and just have electrical connections.
Malgrat de Mar is a popular seaside town with a good range of shops, bars and restaurants, an interesting old market and some fine architecture, including the church of Sant Nicolau. To the east, across the estuary of the River Tordera, is the thriving resort of Blanes with more sandy beaches as well as some steep, rocky cliffs and surprisingly quiet little coves.
Sanitary block in each camping area including hot showers, cabins with shower and WC, facilities for babies and disabled visitors and laundry areas. No motorcaravan service point or chemical disposal. Bar/restaurant. Shop for basics. Swimming pool. Playgrounds. Pétanque. Activities and entertainment for children and adults (high season). Fridges for hire. Bicycle and car rental. WiFi throughout (charged). Dogs are not accepted
