The short scenic drive through the mountains to reach this site is breathtakingly beautiful. This attractively terraced campsite next to the Cadi-Moixer Natural Park, is not far from the majestic Pedraforca mountain, and the area is a favourite for Catalan climbers and walkers. Access on the site is quite easy for large units, although the road from Guardiola de Berguedà is twisting. Of the 73 grass or gravel pitches, there are 40 for touring, all with 6A electricity. The campsite was recently acquired by Huttopia Group, and renovations are planned for 2024.

For a small site, there are excellent facilities including a large and a smaller swimming pool, and an upstairs restaurant and bar. The site has a strong ecological ethos and has been awarded environmental certificates. People are attracted by the natural beauty of the area, pretty villages, wild flowers, wonderful walks, and interesting local attractions including sea salt mountains. The Cadi-Moixer Natural Park has 400 km. of marked footpaths (including some long distance) and is particularly famous for its flora and fauna, with some plants dating back to the Ice Age.

Two well maintained and well equipped modern toilet blocks are heated and clean. Accessible Facilities. Three private cabins with washbasin, toilet and bidet. Washing machines. Small shop, restaurant, bar and takeaway (w/ends only then 1/7-1/9). Outdoor pools (24/6-31/8). Play areas. WiFi throughout (charged). Communal barbecues on each terrace (individual barbecues not permitted).

Directions to Camping El Berguedà

Guardiola de Berguedà is 125 km. north of Barcelona. From the C16 Manresa-Berga road 2 km. south of Guardiola de Berguedà turn west towards Saldes. Site is on right after 3.5 km. From France via Puigcerdà take the C16 (Berga/Manresa) to Guardiola de Berguedà, then as above.
