Alan Rogers Review

This is a family run site located just 4 km. from the interesting, historic town of Brantôme. The site has 50 spacious, uneven, sloping pitches, mostly scattered among tall trees giving heavy shade, with a few in sunnier areas. All have electricity (long leads required). There are also mobile homes and fully equipped tents available to rent. Facilities include a swimming pool, a shop, a bar with terrace, a restaurant and snack bar with daily fresh bread in July and August. There are various activities arranged, including a weekly walk with a picnic lunch back at the site.

Brantôme is one of the most attractive and visited towns in the Dordogne. Its centre is made up of cobbled streets, a magnificent abbey and riverside park, and there is a good range of shops and restaurants. Further afield, the Roman ruins in Périgueux and its superb cathedral richly merit a visit. The medieval town of Sarlat is one of the most popular tourist centres in the region.
