Alan Rogers Review
Camping Drewoldke is a remote, natural campsite situated only 300 m. from the Baltic sea on the eastern side of the beautiful, rugged island of Rügen, the largest island in Germany. There are 380 pitches with 300 undelineated for touring, many with 16A electricity and TV connection, but long leads may be needed. Some of the average size, uneven pitches are sunny, others have good shade and the surface ranges from rough grass to sand. There is a special area for groups of young campers. The site will be very busy in the high season.
Cooking equipment is available for those with minimal camping equipment and there are good clean toilet blocks. A charge is made for using the cooking equipment, laundry equipment and the hot showers, and is paid using a smart card available from reception. Many watersports are available on the lake close to the campsite, including sailing, surfing, kite surfing and scuba diving and boats are for hire. There are many marked walks and cycle tracks to explore and there are several nature reserves close by.

Cooking facilities. Bar. Restaurant. Snack bar and takeaway Small shop with fresh bread all (May-Sept). Large play areas and club for children. Billiards. Bicycle hire. WiFi.
