Alan Rogers Review

Domaine de l’Abeiller is a well equipped family site at the edge of the Cévennes national park. There are 216 pitches with 132 for touring, some rather stony with oak trees giving dappled shade. Others are more grassy, with less shade. Most have 6A electricity. There are some mobile homes and chalets to rent. The pool complex is impressive with several pools, a paddling pool, jacuzzi and a water slide for young children. Canoeing and swimming are possible in the nearby river and canoe trips are organised on both the Ceze and Ardèche rivers. A few activities and competitions are organised in high season.

Unusually, the pool is open until 22.00 in high season. A restaurant and bar are also available during the peak season. The nearby village has a small supermarket with a larger selection of shops and restaurants on offer in Saint Ambroix (3 km).
