Alan Rogers Review
The medieval city of Ceské Budejovice is the home of Budweiser beer and is also an industrial centre. It lies on the River Vltava with mountains and pleasant scenery nearby. Dlouhá Louka is a motel and camping complex two kilometres south of the town on the Ceské Budejovice - Cesky Krumlov road. The camping part is a flat, rectangular meadow surrounded by trees which give some shade around the edges. There are some marked, hedged pitches and hardstanding, but many of the grass pitches are not marked or numbered so pitching can be rather haphazard. In total, 100 units are taken and there are 60 electricity connections (10A) and ten pitches with electricity and waste water.
This is a useful night stop between Prague and Linz or for longer stays if this region is of interest.
