Alan Rogers Review
This relatively recently constructed, touring campsite is on the side of Lake Biel and the river Thielle, close to the old town of Le Landeron. The site is divided into two sections, on the lake side of the road are residential seasonal caravans, and on the other is the modern campsite for tourers. The 160 touring pitches are all on level grass, numbered but not separated; a few have shade, all have 13A electricity and many conveniently placed water points. All the facilities are well maintained and in good condition. A short walk brings you to the historic old town.
The spacious, modern sanitary block contains all the usual facilities including a food preparation area with six cooking rings, a large freezer and refrigerator. Payment for showers is by card (1 CHF/min). Baby room. Facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry. Motorhome services. Community room and small café in reception building. Shop, restaurant and takeaway (all season). Playground. Bicycle hire and Electric bicycle hire. TV and general room. WiFi throughout. Pets allowed, Dog walking field.
Le Landeron is signed from the Neuchâtel-Biel motorway, exit 19 and site is well signed from the town.Link to campsite location map on google
