Alan Rogers Review
Just 27 km. south of the birthplace of Aristotle is the small town of Lerissos, on the peninsula of Agio Oros, famous for Mount Athos and the Byzantine monasteries. Camping Delphini offers a very simple, quiet campsite with 70 pitches which are all for touring units, in a wooded area. The dense trees provide ample shade, so there are none of those horizontal screens found on many Greek campsites. The restaurant and bar provide simple Greek meals and a place to chat to the locals in the cool shade of the terrace or under a parasol. This is a place to visit if you are looking for a restful break and not seeking all the facilities of the bigger beach-front sites.
The toilet block includes showers, WCs (some Turkish) and washbasins. Kitchen with sinks, electric hobs and fridges. Laundry with washing machines. Bar and simple restaurant.
