Alan Rogers Review

Within an hour’s drive of the port of Rotterdam you can be pitched on this delightful, spacious site in the green heart of the Netherlands. De Victorie, a working farm and a member of an organisation of farm sites, offers an alternative to the bustling seaside sites. A modern building houses reception, an open plan office and a space with tables and chairs, where the friendly owners may well invite you to have a cup of coffee. The 100 grass pitches (100-200 sq.m) are level and have 6A electricity supply. Everything about the site is surprising and contrary to any preconceived ideas.

You can choose to be pitched in the shade of one of the orchards, or in the more open meadow area. The freedom of the farmland is especially enjoyed by children with farm animals, wildlife and tractor rides. This is an ideal site for those seeking peace and quiet whilst still being close to the main attractions of this part of Holland.

The main sanitary block is kept spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Showers are on payment. Laundry room. Additional sanitary facilities are around the site. Farm shop and small bar (once a week). Play area. Trampoline. Play field. Fishing. Riding. WiFi throughout (charged).
