Alan Rogers Review
One can be assured of a warm welcome from Patricia at this family campsite, which was completely renovated in 2012. This simple site is situated high up on the Plateau de la Viadene at over 700 m. next to a complex of lakes where one can swim, fish, cycle or walk for miles. There are 33 medium size pitches, 23 for touring with 5A electricity, all with neat privet hedges and shade from mature trees. Facilities adjacent to the site are provided by the local municipality. The village of Saint Gervais is small and picturesque with only the church bells to disturb your peace. The site is unsuitable for American RVs or twin-axle caravans due to the narrow approach roads.
Basic but clean toilet block with Turkish and British style toilets. Facilities for disabled campers. Washing machine and dryer. Basic shop, baker calls (July/Aug). Snack bar. Volleyball, football, tennis provided by the municipality adjoining site (free to campers). Fishing, boating and swimming in lake.
