Alan Rogers Review
A long established, family run site in a beautiful location on the southern side of Lake Gérardmer, de Ramberchamp is very peaceful. It benefits from a bar and restaurant adjacent to reception, which is on one side of the D69, with mostly long stay units on the pitches around it. Most of the 155 touring pitches are on the opposite side of the road by the lakeside, with the larger sanitary building. Pitches here vary in size, larger ones being further from the lake, all with electricity (4A) and quite level. Those by the lakeside are mostly on gravel and are very popular.
Site roads are tarmac, and pitches are divided by small hedges or rails, with some trees providing shade. There are firework celebrations on the lake on 14 July and 14 August and bookings are essential for both of these dates.
The main sanitary unit is fairly central. Baby room. Unit for disabled campers. Laundry. Motorcaravan services. A second smaller older unit serves pitches on the other side of the road. Bar/restaurant with takeaway (15/4-15/9). Small play area. TV room. Max length of unit 8.5 m.

Site is west of Gérardmer, on D69 on southern side of the lake. Best approached from N417 towards Le Tholy, turning on D69, passing Lido. Site reception on right hand side, site entrance opposite.
