Alan Rogers Review
Camping de Lochrist is a small very rural site set among five acres of orchards. The ambiance is that of an old Breton farm; you will find an aviary with turtle doves, pigeons, pheasants and chickens. Pitches are level, grassy and divided by trees, some pitches are in heavy shade while others are open. Long leads may be required for electricity (10A). A traditional stone building houses the bar complete with old oak beams and the smell of the wood fire. The campsite is ideally suited for very young children and those looking for a quiet holiday.
The sea and beaches are 1 km. away and the old walled town of Concarneau is 4 km; there you will find shops, restaurants and a large market which is held on Fridays. This site has no facilities for campers with disabilities.
Two toilet blocks with some Turkish style toilets, showers, washing machine and washing up sinks. No facilities for campers with disabilities. Bar. Small play area.
